Biosketch:

Dr Ngubane holds a PhD degree in Medical Sciences and is currently a Senior Lecturer and Medical Researcher at UKZN’s School of laboratory Medicine and Medical Sciences, in the department of Human Physiology.
Dr Ngubane is an Y NRF rated Medical Physiologist, whose research interests involve establishing alternative management strategies for the treatment of Diabetes Mellitus and Preeclampsia. This includes investigating the effects of hypo and anti-hyperglycaemic agents on Renal, Cardiovascular, Hematological and Hepatic function in metabolic disorders.
Dr Ngubane has in the past 5 years published well over 35 articles in various High Impact Factor Journals and has supervised to completion since 2017, 4 PhD students and 17 Masters students
